๐พBehind Mt. Hood Pomskies๐พ

The Girl behind the Community
Devyn, the founder of Mt. Hood Pomskies, lives on a 5-acre farm in Sandy with her 8 dogs, including 4 rescue Pitbulls. She breeds Nigerian dwarf goats, rides horses, and collects eggs. Devyn offers goat yoga, educational workshops, and private sessions on her farm. Soon, she will take her farm animals mobile for events and sell goat milk products and farm-fresh eggs. Bucking Chaos Farms, her farm, will also have merchandise available soon.
The Spark of Passion
Devyn’s path to founding Mt. Hood Pomskies began over a decade ago, sparked by a chance encounter with a manager who bred Pomeranians and was venturing into Pomskies. Research led to fascination, and fascination turned into love when she met a small, 15lb red/chocolate Husky that mirrored her beloved Simba. This Pomsky not only captured her heart but also ignited a desire to share this enchanting breed with the world.
A Mentor’s Guidance
Under the mentorship of Sean Manning, the esteemed owner of Northwest Pomskies, Devyn honed her skills in responsible breeding. ALL her current Pomskies were obtained from Northwest Pomskies and their parents were also Embark tested. Even after Sean’s retirement, his wisdom continues to guide her through the tough terrains of not just Pomsky breeding but breeding in general, He has helped Devyn and her fiancé in ensuring that Mt. Hood Pomskies upholds the highest standards in breeding practices and can ensure that they are in fact responsible and ethical breeders.
A Labor of Love
For Devyn, breeding Pomskies is a labor of love, not a pursuit of wealth. Each Pomsky is bred with care to bring families a companion full of character and charm. Devyn is committed to ethical breeding, ensuring healthy, well-tempered, and joyful Pomskies. Besides Pomskies, she has 4 other dogs, all fixed and Embark tested and who are also rescues. Devyn believes in not adding to shelter populations, offering a lifetime support guarantee. If you need to rehome your Pomsky for any reason, she will gladly take them back along with any other dogs.
A Dream Realized
None of this would have been possible without the support of Sean, Devyn’s husband, biggest cheerleader, and investor. Together, they’ve created a haven for Pomskies and Nigerian dwarf goats on their 5-acre farm. They offer weekend workshops for children to experience farm life and goat yoga sessions. The dogs are spoiled when visitors come, and they probably live better lives than most people.
"They own this house, We just live here."
